Have you taken a good look at Los Angeles Community Hospital at Norwalk lately?

If not, you might not recognize us.

While remaining dedicated to being your community hospital and delivering quality healthcare, we’ve transformed our facility into something really special and welcoming. Our lobby has been remodeled as have many of the patient rooms. Yes, quality healthcare is what brings patients to our hospital, but being in comfortable surroundings can also aid the healing process.

At our hospital, we believe that one of our competitive edges is the people and atmosphere surrounding you. Patient care and customer service are our top priorities. Care is what we offer, and it is an acronym that guides us daily. At LACH-Norwalk, CARE stands for Compassion, Accountability, Responsibility, and Execution. Being in a hospital can be a very unsettling experience. We promise that if you are one of our patients you will be treated with respect and we will make you as comfortable as possible.

We are an important part of the Norwalk community, and the community is an important part of our hospital. We have relationships with local community organizations, and we have forged partnerships with senior centers, skilled nursing facilities and local board and care facilities. We have staged health fairs in the community, and we will be holding educational classes for the community in the near future.

We are extremely proud of the recent changes at our hospital and our relationship with the residents of Norwalk and neighboring cities. We’re looking better than ever—and we’re committed to providing our patients with the quality care they need and deserve.

We also are proud to be ranked among the nation’s top 5% for patient safety by Healthgrades.
